WATT-IF Mobile Studio ("we," "our," or "us") operates the WATT-IF Studio mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials to provide access to your account and saved projects.

User-Generated Content

We store lighting setups, storyboards, and project data that you create within the App. This data is stored securely in our cloud infrastructure to enable saving, loading, and sharing features.

Camera and AR Data

The App may access your device's camera and depth sensors (LiDAR or ARCore) for the room scanning feature. Room scan data is processed on your device and is only uploaded if you choose to save it as part of a project. We do not collect photos or video from your camera.

AI Features

When you use AI-powered features (lighting suggestions or 3D model generation), the text prompts you provide are sent to third-party AI services to generate results. We do not use your prompts to train AI models.

Subscription and Payment Information

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from these platforms.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics such as app feature usage, crash reports, and performance data to improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
• To manage your account and saved projects
• To process AI-powered lighting suggestions and 3D model generation
• To manage your subscription status
• To diagnose technical issues and improve performance

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — for user authentication and cloud data storage
• Anthropic (Claude) — for AI lighting assistant features
• Meshy AI — for AI 3D model generation
• Apple App Store / Google Play — for subscription billing

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
